Happy Dollars
Don Bonner - thanked Gary Miller for his year as President. Gary's term concludes next week.
Len Dunstan - expressed gratitude for the Paul Harris Award he received June 17th. He called it an "amazing honor," and stated it "meant the world" to him.
Steve Roberto - said "thank you Mrs. Columbo" to Christine Bronson. This was a humorous reference to the way Dale Bronson introduced his wife Christine. It also tied in to some proof-reading Christine had done on the Early Riser.
Linda Pendergast - is leaving for her summer residence on the shore. She is "bidding adieu until September."
Ann Clark - on Saturday, June 25th, Ann and 15 of her cousins (plus spouses) will be getting together for the first time in many years. Some of the cousins will be coming in from the Carolinas, Virginia, Arizona and Vermont.
Robin DiNicola - her son will be leaving for Virginia Saturday (6/25) to do some volunteer work.
Tom Voorhees - acknowledged Gary Miller for the year he has put in as Club President, and he congratulated the Club's two recent Paul Harris winners, Len Dunstan and Thor Cheyne.
Chris Bronson - detailed how much the Club means to her husband Dale.
Arnie Goldman - the Captain of the Mets, (think golf tournament teams), Arnie encouraged his team members to bring in the golf ads, registrations, auction/raffle items, etc. He concluded with a "Let's Go Mets!!" exhortation.
Lisa Barall-Matt - congratulated Len Dunstan and Thor Cheyne for their Paul Harris Awards. Lisa also reported that her daughter is walking again eight weeks after ankle surgery.
Gary Miller - outlined several Happy Dollars:
* as outgoing President, he thanked Salin Low for putting on an excellent President's Dinner.
* he shared that, whenever he is President of anything, his goal is to "become Past President as quickly as possible."
* next Monday (6/27) will be his 45th wedding anniversary.
* he was finishing his first week as Executive Director of the Canton Chamber of Commerce and liked it so far.
