Kim Murphy grew up in Burlington, Connecticut and attended Tunxis Community College. Her son Tim, his wife Britt and her two grandchildren (ages five and two) all live in Ridgefield, Connecticut with their bulldog, Millie. She has two sisters and one brother that all live within thirty minutes of each other, as does her mom. Kim lives in Torrington at Lakeridge Condominiums.
For over ten years Kim has been a manager at Northwest Community Bank and has worked in banking for over thirty years.
Kim has volunteered for many different organizations over the years and is an active member of the Avon Chamber of Commerce, currently serving on the Membership Committee. As a Rotary of Avon-Canton past-President from 2004 to 2005, Kim says that “Rotary is still and always will be important to me”.
In her spare time, Kim loves to read, bike ride, hike, travel and spend time with family and friends. She has two kitty cats: Kendall and Jackson!
